Our Philosophy

A hall for healing, not performance

In Sanskrit, shala means a home — a hall for learning. Here, yoga isn't simply a physical practice; it's a path to healing, a way of restoring balance to body, breath, and mind.

No two students arrive with the same body, history, or intention. Classes are kept intentionally small, so every practitioner receives genuine attention, personalized guidance, and space to grow at their own pace.

Our Mission

Tradition, honoured. Community, built.

We bring mindfulness, strength, flexibility, and inner calm through yoga and holistic practices that honor ancient traditions while embracing modern wellness needs. Our community is built on authenticity, inclusivity, and the transformative power of mindful movement.

Community

Fostering deep connections and supportive relationships within our yoga family.

Authenticity

Honoring traditional yoga wisdom while adapting to modern wellness needs.

Tradition

Preserving ancient practices and teachings that have guided seekers for centuries.

Inclusivity

Welcoming all bodies, backgrounds, and experience levels with open arms.

Lead Instructor

Meet Rathipriya

Rathipriya has been practicing yoga for over ten years, and has spent the past four as a certified instructor, teaching students across Canada. She welcomes practitioners of every background and experience level, rooted in a deep belief in yoga as a path to healing — not simply a physical practice, but a way of restoring balance to body, breath, and mind.

She works with students across a wide span of age groups, with a particular passion for pranayama and the transformative power of conscious breath. No two students arrive with the same body, history, or intention — so her classes are intentionally kept to no more than ten students, ensuring every practitioner receives genuine attention, personalized guidance, and the space to grow at their own pace.

She continues to study across a range of yogic disciplines, bringing what she learns back to her students and letting her teaching evolve alongside her own practice.
